Each cross-section comprises many 9-noded elements. The shape calculation via the "Finite element method" is carried out for each element and finally the cross-section property-values (VALUES)are found from the integration over all the elements in the cross-section.

INFO pad provides information about the elements that make up the cross section. Each element is defined by 9 nodes. The list of all the existing nodes and their coordinates is shown in the upper list, the elements with their nine node numbers are defined in the list below.
